Diolinda the Portuguese African who can out do any chef!

 

Diolinda, my crazy, fun-loving, boot-camping, friend.  Willing to do anything, go anywhere – all in the name of fun.

 

I kinda knew ahead of time what I would be doing on this day.  Dio had been given an iPad for her birthday in Feb. and she asked me to come on over and show her how to use it.  Yes, that does make me sound terrifically knowledgeable about technology doesn’t it?  Anywhoo, let’s not dwell on the amount I know, but rather that I was able to actually teach her something – what was it again… Hmmmm… oh yes, I told her to download as many free apps as she wanted because they were easy to delete AND to prove it, I showed her HOW to delete an app!   ;)   I did actually also showed her one or two other things, but really – none of you want to hear about the lesson in detail!

 

My favourite part of the lesson was telling her about some fun brain game apps and showing her how to use one or two of them.  I love my Mensa Brain Test, Fit Brains, Brain Lab, Spell Towers and Luminosity apps – all fun silly little things to play, to keep your brain fit.

 

D, I always love being in your company.  You are a good friend.   If I need it, you call me out on it!  You encourage me in my walk with God.  You’ve stood at the line and shouted for me to get up when I’ve fallen down and when I haven’t been able to get up straight away – you’ve yelled for me to crawl.  We laugh together, we cry together, but just don’t ever expect me to go bungee jumping with you – that you can do on your own!
