SPRAY PAINTING PICTURE - DONE - CHECK OFF THE BUCKET LIST !
As I've walked flea markets, every now and then, I come across these spectacular artists with their cans of spray paint. They whip up a brilliant painting - mostly of space or city skylines and then without a thought or a care in the world they hand the one of a kind master-piece over for a relatively small amount of money.
I have always been in awe of these painters and of course, like SO many other people who watch, think - WOW, I'd so totally love to do that!
For June, I purchased a large white board (I REALLY HAVE NOOOOO IDEA WHAT I AM ACTUALLY SUPPOSED TO USE...) and a can of paint. (We already had some cans of paint at home from other projects in the past.)
I aimlessly began to spray and try out the techniques that I had seen them use in the past. I can tell you right up - I have NO idea how they do it! When I tried to put a piece of paper down on the board to pull up paint - it was a nightmare. Newspaper got stuck to the board... paper slid across the paint... Ay-yi-yi !!!
Although I can have a good giggle at my painting, and very sadly there is NO-ONE who would patiently stand and wait for it... to hand over money... OR simply wait for it... :) I am really thrilled that I tried it. I REALLY, REALLY LOVED doing it. I am so amazed at how the paints mix together and create shadows that I could never have dreamed of creating on my own. (I confess that OF COURSE, the REAL Spray Paint Artists would of course, know what the end result would be, as they can see that kind of thing in their minds eye, before they even start.
I certainly have GREAT admiration for these incredible people - WOW - they are good.
And now...
I'll let you have a little look-see...
(I put it on minimum quality, so that no-one can enlarge it and look at it fully!!!! LOL)
(PS : I am now posting this note like 4 or 5 days later (after the above sentence)...
- OKAY!!! NOW EVERYONE IS IN HYSTERIC'S LAUGHING AT ME, BECAUSE OF COURSE... THIS CAN BE ENLARGED ON THE COMPUTER, and I suspect everyone has tried it already, had a good laugh at me and closed it up.
Well, all I can say to that is, that's what I like to do... MAKE PEOPLE SMILE AND BE HAPPY!
