My Beloved 'Bastie

My beautiful boy - Sebastian.

 

 

You were snatched back from death 3 and 1/2 years ago, having cancer removed from deep into your face.

 

 

 

 

 

You slept anywhere - in the most ridiculous places (even though you had huge soft beds all over the house placed for your use) and you brought me joy and laughter every day of my life with you.  Thank you for being such a sweetheart!  You and Guy were most gentle animals I have ever been around.  God must have loved me very much to have given you boys to me.

Finally:  THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU OUT THERE - It has been fun watching which countries have been linked onto my site and how loyal you have been!  Thank you for sharing this year with me and walking my joy roads and sad roads with me.  You are a blessing to me!

THE GREAT AND FINAL MONTH OF DECEMBER!

Secondly:

This month I have accomplished my task!

I have published my book!!!  WHOOOOOOOOOHOOOOO!!!!!!

Yay, I am SO excited.

I am asking all of YOU out there to please purchase this book.  ALL the money received goes to orphanages around the world.  I have made it 99c so that NOBODY has an excuse not to help give kids out there a chance in life.  (I receive no money for this - 100% will go to the kids).

Firstly...

First the questions answered:

Did I complete everything I set out to do?
Yes, and more.  I wanted to complete one task a month and averaged out at 2 a month, although not everything was recorded.

Is there anything I didn't accomplish?
Yes, I was not able to complete my August month.  I really wanted to be able to stand up and talk to people about what I was doing.  Sadly, I just couldn't quite get there.  I did however attend a "Fear of Public Speaking" course, so there may one day come a time, when I am able to accomplish this again.

I also was not able to complete my December on time.  However, I am of the mind that not everything is perfect in life.  Flexibility is important and finishing really does that count - even if you finish a day late!!!  :)

Is there anything I will be doing this coming year?
Yes, we will be doing a lot of travelling - God willing and hopefully building many family memories.  I intend to continue on in the pursuit of physical improvement - with great thanks to the inspiring L.M. in Scotland.

My New Year's resolution?

Will I stop?
Hopefully never!  This year has taught me even more so, than time is short and there is so much to do for others.  I pray that God blesses me enough to love and serve others all the days of my life.  That I never stop the adventures, learning new things and over-coming obstacles.

Have I inspired anyone?
Not sure...

Have I had any more dates with the old man hubby?
Yes, actually, he did take me to the movies... well sort of...

and we did go to his company dinner!  It was a GREAT evening!!!  LOVED IT!!!

WOW...

I'm not sure what has happened to me, but, I suddenly felt really dis-jointed about finishing off this year.  I don't think I want to let go.  The year has been too good to me and I feel like I am loosing a friend!

With this being said, you may understand, why I have been so quiet over the last two weeks.  I know that I wanted to come back each day and write a little note or two, but I just couldn't quite get there, without feeling like I am saying goodbye...



SO...,


here I am.  I sit writing my final words to you...

The last word on this year's list...

These were my choices for this season of my life - I did them and I did them well - When I laughed, I laughed hard, when I screamed, I screamed loud and when I played, I played long.   I did them as "extras" in my regular life  - I loved them - AND, I would do them all over again, if I had this year again.  All this being said, my next list will look quite a bit different to this one, in fact, each of my lists always seem to look fairly different from one another.

                                                         But for this time round...

                                                                                                 I am satisfied, content and happy.

Helicopter trip (IN THE FRONT SEAT - noggal!)

A date with me old hubby

Searched for the hearts of 31 people and found glimpses into many (Well 30 to be truthful - day 18 was a fluke!)

 

Spray-painted a picture

Built a swing chair

Zip-lining

Birthday on the beach watching the sunrise (Seen the sunrise MANY times on the beach, but first time to have my birthday on the beach watching the sunrise).

                                                                               Did a health experiment - found some great results

Climbed great mountain!

Went fishing AND CAUGHT A FISH!  ;)

Walked among the tree tops

Learned to SCUBA dive

To summarise the things that happened to me for this BIG YEAR; things that have been kicked off my bucket list...

I start with this:

                                            The Aurora Borealis (The Northern Lights)

 

Yes, the sky actually DID turn all these colours!  The light was like music playing in the sky.

I could have danced all night...

The Grand Finale Begins...

This year was born out of the desire in my heart for something different.  A year that would not be remembered for a particular day within that year, but for a lifetime because of the whole year.  A year remembered by not just me, but by others who may have been touched by something that happened to me, within this year.
